The Apollo A26 Pilot Alphanumeric
Pager
(formerly also known as the model 990) features the largest LCD of any classic, full-size pager while remaining compact and user-friendly.
The extra large display is more than 30% larger than other full-size pagers (approximately 2-1/4″ wide by 3/4″ tall);
When zoomed from 4 lines to 2 lines, each character is nearly 1/4″ tall by 1/8″ wide with 16 characters per line.
The display is holographically-enhanced and paired with a crisp, blue backlight to further improve definition and clarity. 6 total navigation buttons, with dedicated up/down/right/left controls, provide fast and intuitive scrolling through messages and menus. Other features include:
The addition of a bright, LED lamp for alerts and other functions;
UL-certification for use in hazardous locations;
A rugged, heavy gauge polycarbonate plastic housing;
Power from a single AA alkaline battery (plus lithium backup battery).
